Nailed to the gun! 5 by .. Michael Gorski (SW Florida)
Rob Halford was great with this band. So much Power and Punch. That's what Fight was all about. Getting the words of the people out there. It's produced well even though it is a "demo". Any Fight or Halford fan would enjoy this. I did. Although all the material is on other CD's.
It's interesing to hear how it all came together.

A bit more raw and lethal than the original War of Words album 4 by .. Pans Labyrinth ()
I recently purchased the new Fight DVD with the bonus CD, which is a remixed and remastered version of the Fight War of Words album. I really enjoyed the DVD and the CD. The CD is killer. I also bought this CD, and to be honest with you, I prefer listening to this cd over the remixed and remastered version that came with the DVD. The demos are raw, and intense, and feature no overdubs or backing vocals. It's just Rob spitting into the mic and letting er rip. Songs like Into the Pit, Nailed to the Gun and Kill It all have that edge and bite of raw power. I love em. The new tracks, which aren't really newly recorded, they are just new demos from the time the rest of the album was recorded, are pretty decent. Nothing really special. Those tracks are Forbidden, Now You Die, Dead Men Talk, Down, and Beast Denies. Those tracks are interesting but they do not come close to the songs that would eventually end up on War of Words. Highly recommended.

War of Nothing 3 by .. Richard G. Hoff (Minneapolis, MN)
I was happy when I found out that this was going to be released. Then I got it. I should have waited till it went on sale or bought it used. This sounds nothing like a demo, it's more of Rob going in and polishing it up and re mastering the vocals. The new songs are good, but it's not the whole "Fight" collection. A Small Deadly Space is a great album and yet there are no songs from there on here. Are you going to re-release those demo's too? If your a fan of Fight, hang on to the original CD, this isn't worth paying full price for. There are no comments from the other band members that made up Fight. A small comment of what we already know, Rob left Priest and this was the out come of it. Big deal. Improvement could be made on this CD.

Fight - War of Words K5 Demos 2 by .. FightFan ()
This is the second turning out of what became a trio of remasters/remixes of the original release War of Words. How many times can they rehash the same material? There are some added songs on this version. I guess someone had to milk the cow. The original release was sufficient but three releases of the same material is just too much.
