A Woman Scorned

Contrary to the other reviewer, I enjoyed "Vengeful," but maybe that is because I didn't rent it expecting a skin flick, so that aspect did not disapppoint me. The cutaway scenes didn't strike me as a tease, so much as a dramatic device.
I thought one of the lead actresses was excellent, and the other one was, well, gorgeous. The plot kept my attention, and I liked that it was set in someplace a little different: Life does go on outside L.A. or NYC. Anyone who likes horses, which I do, also might enjoy the equine element in the film.
Further, I thought the ironic ending worked well.
Terrible Movie all the way 'round

I could forgive this movie for being low budget, if it had a plot or some decent acting. But it doesn't. The "best" part is the twist at the end, but even that is poorly executed. If you're thinking that this movie is a skin flick, it's not that either. Don't let the preview or the photo by the title mislead you. The director likes tease scenes, like where he shows one of the main characters getting ready for a shower, and cuts away just as she's about to show something.
That pretty much sums up the whole movie. A lot of poorly executed tease scenes that leave you with no reward or substance. I wish that I could unring the bell and get my 80 minutes and $1.99 back. It was that bad.
