There is no bond stronger than the bond of family, but when betrayal and heartbreak strike, those ties are severely tested! WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT tells the story of a family who has lost its way…maybe forever. Only through the power of love, faith and forgiveness can they rediscover what’s truly important and let the light back in! With the talents of Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Steve Harvey Show), Keith Robinson (Dreamgirls), Clifton Powell (Ray) and R&B sensation Lloyd, WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT shines with warmth, humor and song.

When The Lights Go Out Review 5 by .. Lakesha Hutchison ()

This dvd is awesome! It's funny, entertaining and real. I liked how relateable and real the characters seemed and the overall presentation of the play. It was like I was watching a movie and not a stage play. Another thing I enjoyed most was the story content. The message pointed back to Christ. The bonus material was really cool too. Overall I loved it and would recommend it!

Powerful Story 4 by .. Hector (New York)
I saw this play live and it was great! I'm glad it's coming to DVD so I can watch it with the familia. This story was very powerful and I think a lot of people will be able to relate. All the actors were great and the songs were inspirational. I would encourage everyone to check this out!

Great Play! Great Actors! 4 by .. Addicted2blogs ()
When I found out both Wendy Raquel Robinson and Clifton Powell were in this DVD I had to purchase it! These two actors along with Lloyd and Keith Robinson did an excellent job. Sometimes these plays are over dramatized but this one was very real. I could really relate to each character. Hopefully they'll air this on TV soon.

It was ok! 3 by .. AFP (HOUSTON, TX)
The movie was good! But the songs were horrible. They sounded as if they made the words up as they song. The grandfather's wife should have been left at home because she was not funny and she was getting on your nerves for acting so stupid, bad acting. Love the storyline. The majority all star cast is what really made this movie and loved the grandfather especially. It really is worth a watch.

DVD 3 by .. Robert Jacks (San Antonio, TX, US)
Disappointing based on the talent within the play. I expected more closure between the relationship with the wife, friend, and the main character's daughter.
